All these questions and more are answered on your tour of Flag Hill Winery & Distillery.  Every weekend in the summer and as much as possible in the fall and winter, a guided walking tour of Flag Hill’s Vineyard, Winery and Distillery are offered to the public.  We are also happy to offer private tours for groups of at least 10.  Whether it’s the public tour or a private tour, whether you are a connoisseur or a novice, young or old, there’s always something new to learn and see at Flag Hill.  These public guided walking tours are an optional part of visiting Flag Hill and do include a minimal charge. Wine and spirit tasting is conducted on a walk-in basis during all of our open hours to the public and is done at no charge.

Public Tour Information

When: Saturday and Sundays, May 11 – October 13, one tour each weekend day is held. At least one weekday tour will be offered each month, May – October. Times vary on weekends due to weddings scheduled on the property. See our online Calendar to determine when a tour will be held on any specific date. Cost: $5 for those 12 and older, no charge for those 11 and under.

What: A guided walking tour of Flag Hill Vineyard (as weather permits), Winery & Distillery weaves you through our facilities for approximately 30-45 minutes.  All ages are welcome, touring is separate from tasting.  Wheelchairs can be accommodated throughout the majority of the tour (the vineyard portion includes grassy and hilly terrain).  Cameras and pictures are allowed. Reservations are not required for enjoying the public tour.

Private Group Tasting & Tour Information

(group size must be at least 10 that are of age 21+)

When:
now – May 10 : Can be scheduled weekdays or weekends between 9am and 5pm
May 11 – Oct. 13, 2013 : Can be scheduled Wed-Fri, 9am – 5pm OR on the weekends in conjunction with the public tour (private tasting, preceeded by or followed after the public tour)
Oct. 16, 2013 – mid May of 2014: Can be scheduled weekdays or weekends between 9am and 5pm

Cost: $8 per person

What: A private seated tasting by Flag Hill staff followed by a tour of the facilities.  Those under 21 may participate in the tour and be seated to listen to the information about wine, but will be served a non-alcohol alternative.  All Private Group Tasting & Tours must be scheduled in advance, we suggest at least 4-6 weeks, but can be taken on shorter notice if the space and staffing is available.

Bus Tours

We are also happy to accommodate bus and tour groups.  Bus and tour groups must be scheduled in advance.  Please refer to the Private Group Tasting & Tour information above.  Tour leaders or travel agents, please contact us at wine-info@flaghill.com or 603-659-2949 for more information or to schedule your group.  For bus and tour groups of at least 25-30, we may be able to accommodate an early morning summer weekend tour (starting somewhere between 9:30 and 10:00) dependent on our private event schedule. Please do not hesitate to inquire.
